After working as a buyer in the Advertising Specialty Industry for 12 years, Cindy has been involved in marketing products to consumers and industry alike. After overseeing a spirit brand for 2 years, McClure realized an untapped niche in the beverage industry and in February 2008 Dress The Drink™ began. McClure hit the ground running and over the course of about three months she arranged a team, aligned Dress The Drink™ with manufacturers, designed packaging, created advertising campaigns, and had opportunities for cross promotions. It was a short 88 days from thought to product launch in. Las Vegas at the Manolos & Martinis Party in May 2008. In less than a year, Dress the Drink™ has undergone a re-branding transformation as well as positioned itself to enter the worldwide stage with national and international brands.
Diane Svehlak, President:
Over 20 years experience in building businesses from the ground up, including business planning, solicitation and acquisition of funding, product and business development. Diane comes to Dress The Drink™ from the Wine and Spirits Industry where she was President of Access Beverage. At Access she launched from product conception to creation, manufacture and distribution of RAW Vodka, Le Snoot, Bees Knees and Mardi Gras wines. Diane is a master at business development with solid relationships with top distributors in every major market in the US. Outstanding achievements in public relations with product placement at a number of Celebrity events including George Clooney, Rachel Ray, The Oscars and The Grammy Awards. Diane's deep knowledge of marketing and specifically the Wine and Spirits industry will position Dress The Drink™ for substantial growth.
Mary Ann (M.A.) Reilly, CMP, V.P. New Business Development:
Mary Ann (M.A.) Reilly, CMP, is a 30 year veteran in the special event/hospitality industry. Mary
Ann's executive management experience encompasses a vast array of food and beverage
positions including, Director of Food Services at O'Melveny & Myers, Executive Chef at Lillick
& McHose , National Director of Special Events at Pillsbury Wintrop, Director of Catering at the
Merv Griffin Hotel & Resort and the Westwood Marquis Hotel. While working as National Director
of Special Events for a Pillsbury Wintrop international law firm, M. A. oversaw more than 300
events annually. M.A. has prestige certifications from the Ritz Escoffier Cooking School in
Paris and the Epicurean Cooking School in Los Angeles. M. A. was the first instructor to teach
Special Events at UCLA as part of their two year culinary arts program. In addition, she is a
Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). M.A. presently holds Board Director positions on National
Association of Catering Executives, Wish Upon A Wedding and Las Vegas Wedding Network with
previous board positions being held at SEARCH Foundation and ISES - Los Angeles Chapter.
Trevor Thorpe, Mixologist:
Beginning his career with The House of Blues, Brass Lounge and now Noir and Company, Trevor Thorpe has been creating cocktails for adoring indulgers for the past 6 years. With his cutting edge style, rock'n hot looks, personable attitude and intense knowledge of the beverage industry, Trevor knows how to create and deliver the finest cocktails your palate has ever enjoyed. His creativity is heightened by his involvement with Dress The Drink™. Trevor is out to set new heights for his fellow mixologists. He is the recipient of the Bombay Sapphire most inspired bartender for 2007, ranking #1 in Las Vegas and #2 in the United States. Indulging in his own creativity, the Key Lime Martini gives him the inspiration.
Blake J. Hovey, Art Director:
Growing up in Chicago, Blake was encouraged to realize his passion for design. While in high school, his talents were easily exposed and allowed him the opportunity to work beyond the scope of imagination. It was this very talent that led him to design clothing profiled on the fashion runway. While serving in the military, Blake was stationed in Alaska where the beauty, peace and serenity broadened his creative side. Not only did his mastery of style flourish, but his diversity did also, as he entered TV production. His first TV commercial project for the Alaska Department of Corrections was a tremendous success earning him the prestigious Telly Award. His designs have graced some of the most popular restaurants, to law enforcement, to advertisements that end up in millions of homes ever year, and even in Vice President Nominee Sarah Palin's residence in Wasilla, Alaska. It is Blake's cutting edge passion and talent that has garnered him the attention.
Neal Weisman, IT:
A native of Southern California, Neal Weisman has worked with businesses large and small in Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada since 1989. Neal's connection to the community through his professional, personal and charitable relationships lead him to build and grow a technology company, "Interactive Ideas" This international-based strategic business planning, website development, Ecommerce, and Hosting firm was established in 1994. The company works with government entities, professional service businesses, non-profit organizations and Casino/Gaming clients throughout the Las Vegas valley. Neal represents such clients as the Wynn Resorts, Mirage, Bellagio, Coors Brewing, the Henderson Chamber of Commerce and Dress the Drink™.
